Move T-minus 1 day. Holy shit. There's so much to do! And I've gotta work most of the day. I have procrastinated horribly on my office. While it's quiet, I will be working to clean the shelves and toss some shit into a box. Then, once the day is done, I'll need to break down my office set up, and box that to be taken over by us tonight.
Tomorrow will start early, as we will strip our bed and wrestle it up to the back porch. The basement is a wreck, and we don't really want someone down there. The movers get here between 9 and 10 am. And then, all hell will break loose?
I'm anxious as hell about the move, but we'll manage. Jess and I will go over for the move, rest a couple of hours and then head back for the cat, if she'll come out. Then, it'll be time to take her, and her favorite cat tree over. Then, we will relax for a bit. Eventually, we're going to have to go to Sam's Club to get food.
Yesterday, we took my sister over to see the apartment. She was very pleased, and began making plans for where furniture will go. Jess broke down boxes and I did a load of laundry, and put the Walmart order away. We now have liter and some food.
Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.

After we got back, it was game time. Our 4th year anniversary game of Frostmaiden. Monster of the week came first, but Frostmaiden was the first D&D game. Campaigns just don't last this long. Go on any reddit and you'll see horror stories of games that just...stopped. But here we are 4 years in, and we're still playing. We had a good time and ended up playing for 5 hours, which is one of our longer sessions. Everyone was committed to finishing the big battle.
I'm wiped out today, but will survive. I got 4 1/2 hours sleep on NYE, thanks to our game which went from 10pm-130am.(had to cover both time zones.) and then last night, my attempt to go to bed early was thwarted by game, followed by panic attack. I expect another one tonight.
Okay, time to get myself together for my last day of work before 3 days off. Everyone have an amazing Thursday!
