It's departure day! I managed to get everything done yesterday, so aside from sliding my computer and kindle into the bag, I should be good to go. I did all my packing, then repacking when I realized I forgot stuff, but I think I'm good now. I have meds, chargers deodorant, clothes and sound machine for nighttime. I confirmed my car for 8:30am pickup, and got a text from the driver confirming.

Then, it will be off to BWI airport to cool my heels for 2 hours. I'm sure once we factor in time for Security and boarding, it'll seem much faster.

Then, I will be white knuckling my way to Chicago. As I mentioned, hopefully, I'll be in the same terminal as the Flagship lounge so I can get lunch for free. Then, on the shuttle to the hotel, and checking into my king suite. I'm not sure whether I have big suite or the smaller one, but whatever is okay. I'll be happy either way. The one big bonus to the big suite is a full size fridge, so I can get food for snacks and meals. Tomorrow night, we're going to Gangnam Market, which is an Asian supermarket/food hall, so I can grab a few things for easy reheating. I've been watching Tik Tok videos of the food hall and it looks amazing. I'm really looking forward to trying some of it.

Thursday will be busy. We have the D&D server high tea, and then CONfab starts with the meet and greet. After that, it's off to a 9pm showing of Venom 3.

Friday, the con gets into full swing, and at some point, I need to look at the schedule and see what panels I want to go to.

I'm going to miss having Jess there for sure, as well as a couple of other friends who had to bow out. But I know I'll still have a good time.

Okay, time for me to get myself together. Gotta put on pants and an actual bra and shoes. Ew. I hope everyone has an amazing Wednesday!
