beansideThese individual protocol classes are kicking my ass. They're repetitive as hell but so intricate that you still have to pay attention. It's like the Choose Your Own Adventure books from hell. IF this, then skip to here. If that, go here. I'm very pleased that I won't have to make up the shit I'm saying to people whole cloth, but it's a little much.
I passed the police protocol test with a 92%, so now I've just got fire to do. That's today and tomorrow.
Did I tell you all that the hapless dude quit? Just bowed out the day of our last test. I don't know why exactly. I mean, I don't think he could have passed, but he kind of went like a wet fart. He's basically become a cautionary tale for the rest of us.
According to our instructor (though I'm not sure he should be telling us this) there are two people who are in danger of failing. I just have to get an average of 78% on the two tests, and I'm golden. I'd like to do considerably better, obviously. I don't think I'm getting top of the class, but I'd like to be up there.
I've been very achy the last couple of days, no clue why. My shoulders and neck have just been pissed off. Last night I went downstairs early and just snuggled up under the comforter and weighted blanket. I'm assuming it's just the weather change kind of kicking my ass.
Tonight we have Brindlewood Bay, which is always fun. It's kind of a game desert the last few weeks. Everyone's schedules are all over the place this month. And I have definitely not been up to run everything, because my brain has been leaking out my ears.
After Brindlewood, we only have a game on Sunday. Then nothing until next Wednesday, which is Blades in the Dark. Next Friday is Frostmaiden, after an 8 week hiatus. I'm excited for that, because we're going to get to start the new quest, which is entirely homebrew. Hopefully, it's entertaining.
I'm looking forward to getting to sleep in on Saturday. (If Boodle allows). The weekend will mostly be spent studying, I'm afraid. My finals are on Halloween, and I want to be ready.
Okay, time for me to get my ass together. Everyone have an excellent Wednesday!
