I actually slept in for an extra hour and a half, go me! Of course, now that I'm awake, I have no doubt that Dad is going to wake up any minute, probably before I have coffee.
Today is a busy day. We've got Mad Mage at 12, and Motw at 4, so I'm going to spend most of my time talking. I've gotten the basic synopsis written for MotW, and I'm going to finish putting tokens on the board for Mad Mage in a little while, so I will be ready to go. I've done the two games on the same day before, and it's not horribly difficult to switch gears, primarily because MotW is such an open world, and I've been playing in it for almost three years now. I won't say I could do it in my sleep, because my characters are little chaos gremlins, but it's like snuggling into a warm, freshly washed blankie.
Yesterday, I did nothing exciting, though I did get another hit on the resume, this one from an HVAC company that is looking for a dispatcher. They're a smaller business, but they have some pretty impressive perks, including free health insurance for both Jess and I. I did the phone interview, and the stupid personality test, and I'm supposed to hear something on Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully, I can get an in person interview, and go from there.
Frostmaiden was suitably bonkers last night. Turns out when you have a few high level paladins and a few mages, it makes the fight much harder. This was just the appetizer fight--they still have the real battle coming up. It should be interesting to say the least. I've thrown three fights at them in a row, with a fourth to come. They're using resoruces at a high rate of speed. I have a surprise for the next battle that I think is going to mess with people. I'm looking forward to it.
Tomorrow, I took off work, but will have to get up early anyway to go to my 911 testing/interview. Hopefully that goes well. I wish we had a decent coffee shop nearby that I could get some esspresso first thing to make sure I'm awake and chippper.
Okay, time for me to get my ass in gear and finish up my prep. Everyone have an excellent Saturday!
