beansideMonday from an exceedingly warm house. Sadly the window AC unit was only able to do so much last night, and it's still 77 degrees in here. Which means as the sun rises, it's only going to go up from there. I'm really hoping they get here closer to 12 than 4 and get shit working again before the hottest part of the day. Also, they better not charge us a ton for this one, since it's the exact same thing that happened six weeks ago. I'm hoping by tomorrow morning, it'll be back to being chilly in my house. As I said six weeks ago, we are good Scandinavian stock. We handle cold like champs, but heat is our enemy.
We managed to keep it below 80 yesterday, but since we're starting higher today, it's obviously not going to stay below that.
Work yesterday was dull and hot and I did not enjoy it. Today will doubtless be even less fun, as two of the people I talk to will be. out. Also, the markets won't come in until late, so I'll have jack all to do aside from Pending Returns. Whoo.
At least afterwards, I hadpoisontaster's game to play in. It's called Secrets of the Drow, and is a lot of fun. We finished up a fight from last time, questioned the prisoner, killed the prisoner, and took the recovered goods back to Winterhold, Just in time to be dispatched for another quest. Reprovisioning took long enough that we didn't actually get to the next quest, but in a couple of weeks, we will be rescuing a missing archeological party. In monster and Drow infested caves.
Next game is Brindlewood Bay on Wednesday, and then a full weekend of games. I've got Frostmaiden on Friday, Mad Mage and Monster of the week on Saturday and then I'm playing in a Call of Cthulhu game on Sunday. My voice should be shot by Monday.
Okay, time to go consider gettting dressed. Ew. Everyone have an amazing Monday!
