beansideAnother day and the weekend is creeping closer. I'm starting to freak out that we don't have a bed or sit/stand lift for dad yet. He's coming home on Sunday and right now there is nothing in his room. The bed is gone thanks to Jess' hard work, and even if it wasn't, we have absolutely no way to get him into it. My sister talked to the social worker the last two days, but I haven't seen any movement whatsoever. It's very much stressing me out.
Today is my day to visit day, whoo. Yesterday he was down because the new bed is harder to get out of. Today, who knows, he may be fine, he may be having a tantrum, we'll see.
My back continues to be a bit pissy. It may not be quite as bad this morning, but it's definitely still spasming. I can take a muscle relaxant in the morning, but I'm going to have to hold off in the afternoon so I can drive. Not looking forward to that.
Oh my god, my sister is very talky this morning, and it is driving me crazy. It would be one thing if it was constant, but she's quiet for a few minutes and then just when I relax and go back to concentrating, she's starts up again.
And now, the BIL is here to take her to work. SO MUCH NOISE. OMG. I have not had enough coffee for this.
Ah well, at least it shouldn't be horrible at work today. My boss is out the nest two days so I'm mostly going to be doing my own thing. On the down side, it means that I'm going to be nominally in charge of the Specialists, which is always fun. I love managing people who make more than I do.
Okay, going to go forth and put on pants and get ready for work. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!
