beansideI have no brain cells today. I woke up at 11 having a massive allergy attack--sneezing, itchy nose eyes and ears, the usual. The cat who was laying on me was not amused. I was up for a couple of hours before the antihistamine kicked in, so today I am very tired. Sadly, it is my might to go to visit dad, so that'll be fun. Hopefully, by then the coffee will have kicked in a bit.
They moved Dad to a new room, since he no longer needs quite as intensive monitoring now that he's feeling better. I'm kind of sad about that, since the nurses in the CCU were very sweet and helpful. They tried to stand him up yesterday, and he couldn't do it, so his ass is definitely going to the rehab. The question will be which one? The caseworker at the hospital seemed to think that he might have to go back to the same rehab he was in. Hopefully, we can get him elsewhere, but we'll see. If we end up at the same one, it's going to be a very different experience for them, because we're going to be up their ass.
I got my car back yesterday. It's idling a bit rough, but Dr. Google says that's not unusual after a battery replacement. Apparently it can take a little while for the computer to sync back up. They said to give it a nice long drive and see if that helps. Fingers crossed. I'll be driving it to the hospital, so we'll see if that does it.
I have a phone interview at 4 today. It's for a team lead job over at the store, so that could be interesting. I don't know that I'll really be in the running for it, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I think if I get it, it could be difficult schedule-wise and also physically, since it would be a lot more standing than I've been used to. We'll see if I get through the interview before I worry about any of that.
Okay, I am going to get myself together now. Everyone have an awesome Monday.
