Well, that was a much more exciting day than planned. It didn't start out that way, but it all kind of went downhill when Jess went to visit dad.

Jess immediately was concerned, as he wasn't really acknowledging them, and was just chanting "oh god" over and over. He was flipping his tongue around and was generally out of it more than usual. They were freaked out, the aid was freaked out, but the nurse was dismissive as hell and basically said "yeah, that's normal." My sister, trusting that this was not normal went over, since she's better at advocating than either Jess and I are.

The new nurse came on, who agreed that this was not normal, and called the doctor. Vitals showed a very low blood pressure and a low pulse ox. My sister pressed it, and off to the ER Dad went. They're concerned about many things, and he will probably be visiting with them for a few days. His heart rate was up, so there's the possibility of another blood clot.

Last night, they'd done a lot of tests, but they hadn't really come back yet, so hopefully we'll have more information sometime this morning. At the very least, maybe they'll be able to keep him in the damn bed?

As a result, not much sleep last night, so I am very tired today. Work should be quiet, at least. My manager wasn't back yesterday, so no clue about that. I was going to text him after work to check in, but then with all the shit with dad, I didn't get around to it.

Today will be 2 weeks since my interview, so now I can start fretting about it.

Okay, time for me to go get dressed and get myself together. Everyone have a wonderful Monday!
