beansideIt's Wednesday, which means it's a busy day I'll have work, then go to see Dad, then home in time for game. The lovely poisontaster is running a one shot D&D game that sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Tomorrow is office day, so I'm glad I have a little fun the night before. Sometimes, I sleep really well after a game, and that would be appreciated. I haven't been sleeping great the last few nights--Daylight Savings kind of messes with me, so even the chance of a good nap sounds lovely.
Yesterday was boring as hell. I was done my markets before first break and the rest of the day I did busywork. It was less than inspiring. Today looks to be the same, unless something comes up.
After some discussion, we decided to cancel Shazam. I knew the lead, Zachary Levi was an antivaxer and had said some really unfortunate shit, but I didn't know the depth, and Jess had no idea. So, we decided to skip that and watch it on the pirate site. So, instead, we have tickets to the D&D movie in 2 weeks. We'll probably go out and do something fun instead on Friday, since we don't have a game. I know it's St. Patrick's day, but I figure if we go to a El Salvadoran restaurant, it shouldn't have too much of an impact. Plus, house made chorizo.
Today, we're starting to use a new cloud based system for receiving calls. It's been in the works for months, so of course people were still being trained on it as of yesterday. I went into it to kind of try to get myself used to it. As a result, I was chosen to help do testing. Because that's the thing to do the day before the system goes live. I am going to make popcorn and watch this shit explode this morning. All the reviews on the system talk about how much it can lag, and I'm sure when we pop our 600 people on, it's going to slow the hell down. It should be good entertainment.
Tomorrow, I have a 2 hour meeting. It sounds like hell. It's an introduction to the "new" call center. You may remember that we had the big party for said new call center like six months ago. I just don't understand their timing.
Okay, I suppose I should consider putting on pants and getting myself together for work. Ew. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!
