beansideIt's Monday, and that means the weekend is over. Boo. No more D&D for 5 days! At least we were able to squish Dragon Heist in for Saturday, otherwise, there wouldn't have been any games next weekend.
Work was indeed bugfuck yesterday. We had nearly 60 LQRs, and two people to work them. I jumped in and did a bunch, and by the time I left there was 19 left. Still a lot, but much better. The dude who was on the inbox didn't do anything until about 2pm, when it was also up to 60. He got it mostly done, but god it drove me insane. STill, I was good. I put up a post in the morning, that coworker S was out for her caughter's birthday, and that he was her backup, and then I did nothing. I did not touch that inbox at all. I'm learning.
Today, who the hell knows what I'll be doing. There was talk of me helping out a different department, but I don't know if that'll happen or not. The only thing I know is that I have my interview at noon. IT'll be insteresting to see what info I can find out about the job. I'm hoping it's not a 2-10pm job. That would fuck up all of my D&D games. We'll see. Even if I get it, I don't have to take it if the schedule/pay isn't up where it needs to be. I'd be very happy if I got my same schedule, even if my schedule gets switched from Sun-Thurs to Tues-Saturday. It wouldn't be ideal, but I really like the 8-4 schedule. We shall see. The interview is scheduled for a whole hour, which is unusual. Normally the phone interview is only 30 min, and then the second interview is an hour. So we'll see how it goes.
Once I finish work, I'll be going to see Dad and visiting. Have to see if we have something sweet I can take him. He's been a bit better since I yelled at him last week. Whether that'll continue to hold, I have no clue. He's been having OT and PT 45 minutes of each daily, so hopefully he's getting stronger.
I slept for shit last night. Had trouble getting to sleep and once I did, I woke up repeatedly. All in all, it was not what I wanted to be doing. Oh well, maybe tonight will be better. I don't know if I'm subconsciously worried about the interview, or if I was just too hyped up from game, but it was not what I wanted for my night.
Game was a lot of fun, as our adventurers journeyed to a far off town and fought a dragon, zombies and some cultists. The dragon was surprisingly tough, and got our barbarian down to 31 HP, which is less than half the norm. I had a lot of fun running it. There's one more game that I'm homebrewing before we start a new module. Just have to decide what module we're going to do.
Okay, time for more coffee and then, ew. Pants. Everyone have a the best Monday that Monday will allow you to!
