beansideLate one today, as I had an appointment with my new primary care doctor this morning. She seems very nice. Thorough, which I appreciated, but also not fat shame-y. I think she'll work out well.
Aside from that, today is a huge blank. I've got nothing planned until this evening's game. My sister is off from work early today, so I'm sure I'll be ready to chew my arm off by evening. Maybe a little later, I'll put on shoes and go to trader joes for some tasty treats. They should have the appetizer bonanza out, and that always makes me happy. Give me those bacon wrapped scallops!
Tomorrow, we're going to go to pick up our Christmas dinner from Whole Foods. It's supposed to be very cold tomorrow, so that'll be fun. But at least the food will stay cold. Then, my sister goes to the in-laws for Christmas Eve, so it's just another night. I have some wrapping and stuffing things into bags to do in preparation for Christmas day.
Tonight we're playing a "one shot" called "How the Lich Stole Christmas. It looks really cute, a D&D retelling of the Grinch for max level characters. I am so looking forward to it. I'm not sure how one shot it'll end up being, but as long as it's fun, it's all good.
Yesterday at work was a clusterfuck. Almost no one came into the office, and the people who did mostly left early. I was on delivery updates and had one person to work them. Needless to say, there were a lot of leftover updates, but I am just not stressing about it.
Came home to a delayed walmart grocery order, and a long frustrating time online with the chat bot. If I could have sent a lightning bolt through the internet to Manickyam the chatbot, I totally would have. I finally gave in and called the customer service line, who sorted it out in three minutes. Apparently, I somehow bought extra boxes of sugar cookies. Go figure. They'll get eaten.
Okay, time for me to go sort out some sort of food. Everyone have a good Friday!
