beansideI got up at 7, but my brain is not awesome at throwing me words today. Then, everyone got up and now I'm in overstim hell. A large part of the problem is that I didn't wake up early to take Rybelsus, so I had to wait to have coffee. Then, people got up during that time, so I'm dealing with people completely uncaffeinated. I have now downed a cup, so hopefully I will relax and not murder my sister for showing me her social media feeds. Jess is not included in the things that are driving me insane, btw. I'm just randomly grumpy this morning.
Yesterday was boring as hell. I had the inbox in the morning, but it was pretty light, so I spent my day occasionally writing an email and making a case. It was very dull, and by the end of the day I had a massive headache. I did have a nice chat with actual!manager, who wanted to feel me out about helping out in casework some next week. She's also a total fangirl, so our chats rarely stay on topic, and we covered a lot of ground. I don't believe I've ever had a manager before that I've discussed Wincest with. (This came up because she mentioned my vacation, and I told her about our tattoo plans. From there, it went to whether I had any tattoos, and that led to talking about the Nashville trip for the first ever Wincon when we ended up at a Christian tattoo shop. Long story short, she's going to try out The Boys for Jensen Ackles.
I went to bed early and finished watching Hercules. Cute, but not life changing. But I don't regret seeing it. I started Ratatouille, but I'm not sure how that's going to go. Not a huge fan of animals in peril, and so far it's been "life sucks for rats, film at 11." I'll probably try to butch it out a bit longer, so we'll see how it goes. Jess and I are going to watch the Emperors New Groove and Treasure Planet, so maybe we'll watch one of those today while we're cooking.
Today, aside from cooking a turkey and hashbrown casserole, we're debating on the merits of going to see Glass Onion, aka Knives Out 2. This will depend on how Jess and I feel and whether my sister gets back from Thanksgiving at the Brother in laws. At the moment there's two seats in the back by themselves, so that would be kind of ideal.
Okay, time to go forth and figure out something for breakfast. Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you're in the US or a terrific Thursday if not!
