I woke up this lovely Tuesday with the same headache I fell asleep with. It's not enough that I'm going to call out of work or anything, and hopefully some ibuprofen will help. It's supposed to be clear weather today, so it's not barometric pressure. I guess it's just pissed off.
My body has been a wonderland the last few weeka anyway. My blood sugar keeps going low. It's a family trait that I feel shitty when it drops below a point that's technically still considered normal, but my body reacts like it's actually low. It's something my mother had as well, so it's not a shock, but it's still a bit annoying. Even more annoying is that my blood pressure has been going low. I think what's happened is that as the Rybelsus has made me lose weight, the medication I'm on is now too strong for me. I have an appointment on Dec 15th with a new primary care doctor, so hopefully she'll have some suggestions. Jess says it's less of a wonderland and more of a haunted amusement park that should be shut down by OSHA. As usual, I think they have the gist of it.
Work was thoroughly boring yesterday. I worked the pending returns most of the day, along with providing some personalized service, going back and forth with a customer to try to get his $22,000 order delivered. We have him set up for Monday, so hopefully it goes smoothly. At least he's a nice customer, so that's something. (A nice, rich customer apparently.)
My coworker dropped off our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. She had gotten it from the organ donation foundation after donating her husband's organs last month, but she doesn't like turkey, so she decided to give it to us! It's an 11 pound turkey, 5 pounds of potatoes, a bottle of apple juice, two boxes of stuffing and a box of cornbread.
As per my normal, I checked my work email and apparently despite underperforming last year, we're getting a small bonus. No clue on how much that'll be. I will find out when it drops into my account, I suppose.
Today I should at least have some work to do, which is good. It'll keep me out of the pending returns queue for a little while at least.
Okay, gonna go consider getting dressed! Have a terrific Tuesday!
