Is it Thursday yet? Morning came way too early today and it took all my willpower to climb out of bed this morning. It's a four day week for me, but that still seems too long. I actually went to sleep relatively early, and now that I'm upright, I'm awake, it just was very difficult to actually get out of my warm cozy bed.
Yesterday was boring. I helped out with the load quality reports for most of the day, which are not my favorite thing to do, but I suppose it was better than nothing. Today, I'll have my reports, which won't take me very long, then I guess I'll help out some more, though the LQR does have a full team today.
After work, I did actually get my ass together and cook the bacon that's been sitting in our fridge since yesterday. Breakfast for dinner is always a good thing, especially when you fry the eggs in the leftover grease. I made sausage for Dad as bacon is not his thing, but he ate the whole plate, so it must have been pretty good.
Tomorrow we have our mid-week D&D, which will be fun. I have no clue what the party will get up to. It might be teleporting to the evil wizard's lair, it might be trying to get into the glacier to check out the lost city. Who knows? It's only a two hour session, so there's limited things the party can get into. After that, I have three games this weekend, two as a DM and one as a player. By Monday, my voice should be very tired.
I took off on Thursday, just because I felt like it, so I don't have to drag into the office this week! Yay! I plan to sleep in til 7 and do nothing at all that day. I did have an eye appointment, but I think I'm going to cancel and I'll reschedule.
I'm debating what to do with the dog's shots this week. It's a series that has to be done within 6 weeks of each other. The thing is, the vet had us start over because we were at seven weeks. He had a really hard time with the shots last time, crying and whimpering because it hurt, and I hate to put him through that again. The stuff I've read online says that having it 7 weeks out should still be okay, just not in the official timeline, so I'm tempted to cancel and call it even. I just really hate him being in pain, because he is not a stoic dog, and it freaks me out when he cries. I don't want to be a bad dog mom, but I also don't want to put him through something unnecessarily. Plus, he has a grooming appointment next week, and I don't want him to be uncomfortable for that.
It's something to think about, at least.
Okay, time for me to get more coffee and pants on. Everyone have a lovely Tuesday!
