And that fast, it's Sunday again. I didn't sleep great last night, so I'm a little grumbly this morning. I got to sleep fine, but kept waking up for no real reason. And it's back to work again. Ew. Oh well, it's a short week at least. I have tomorrow off for my ENT appointment and Thursday off for Yoda's vet visit. I can handle three days, I suppose. And next week I'm off on Thursday when we leave for vacation, which lasts until Wednesday of the week after, so it's three short weeks in a row. Which sounds lovely.
Yesterday, I did nothing. The biggest thing I did was take the first walk of our slow training for Disney. I walked 2400 steps, which is hardly anything. Only 18,000 more to go. Still, gotta start somewhere, I suppose. Next time, maybe we'll walk 4000, and add it on as we go. We still have nine months, so I've got plenty of time to increase the amount. The plan is to be able to walk at least seven to ten miles on a regular basis. Which seems like a lot. Still, I want to be in shape by the time we get there, so I'm not half dead after a day in the park, much less five days. (with one day in the middle to relax.)
Apparently, BIL did not order Uncharted, so current suspects are his father or my father. It's not a huge deal, I suppose. That goat has been fucked, and it doesn't really matter who did it.
Tonight, we shall have D&D! It's the Wild Beyond the Witchlight game, which has a lot of the same players from my Frostmaiden game. The module isn't quite as open world as Frostmaiden, which I don't love. It's kind of on rails. You do this, then you do that. I still enjoy DMing it, but it doesn't have my heart as much as Frostmaiden or Monster of the Week.
On the other end of things I'm interested in they're updating the Spelljammer books for D&D. It's the intergalactic swashbuckling module, which sounds like a lot of fun. I'd considering taking the Frostmaiden crew to space after the current adventure concludes if everyone is interested. Or alternately, there's plenty of dragons and gods they could go to take on! I'm getting the hang of scaling up the challenge for the large party, so I could totally pick up another adventure and go from there.
Okay, time for me to go forth and get myself together for work. Everyone have a good Sunday!
