beansideHappy Hump Day, y'all. We've made it to the halfway point of the week. I woke up ready for a nap. Plus, I'd apparently used my phone during the night and not put it back in my purse, so there was a quiet scramble to find it without waking up Jess. It took a few minutes of frantically patting around, but eventually I found it.
The new phone is very nice, but it's not great on battery, which is a little disappointing. I put it on battery saver mode yesterday, so hopefully that'll help some. Otherwise, it's fast and definitely does more than I need it to, since I'm a very basic phone user. A few apps, texts and calls are about all I use it for. As long as it can do Discord calls (which it does very nicely) I'm good.
I'm sorry the neuro is so far out, both because of the dizziness, and because my neck has been extraordinarily tight the last few weeks. It's been hard keeping us in heat wraps.
We're under 300 days for the Disney trip! Only another 3 months til I'll be able to book our package. Right now, we just have hotel reservations, as those come available a year ahead of time. Honestly, that's probably the only way to get our hotel. From what I've seen, the Polynesian books up at least 6 months in advance. I didn't find anything before the end of the year when I went looking, at least.
I think for the May trip, we're going to try for Lancaster after all. If we leave relatively early, my dizziness shouldn't be too bad. If I have to pull over and have Jess drive for a little while, I'll deal with the car sickness. We really need to get away, and Lancaster is what we can afford, so we're going to make it work.
I'm still stressed out about the dizziness, and I seem to have combated it by shopping. Dopamine hit for the win. I have a few tshirts and some overalls coming my way from Hot Topic. They're all Disney, because I have a theme, y'all. There's an adorable pair of Chip and Dale overalls that I just couldn't pass up. I haven't ordered from Hot Topic in years. I'm a little too old for most of their clothes, I think. My goth phase, such as it was, is long since over.
Our team meeting yesterday was exhausting. There was no real agenda, so it kind of meandered along in stupid and not totally professional ways. We learned a little more about our team lead, which I guess was nice? Mostly, I can't even say that this could have been an email. It shouldn't have even been that much. No new information was imparted. My coworker and I spent the entire meeting bitching to each other.
At least today should be quiet. And on that note, I'm going to have some more coffee, and get myself together. Have a good Wednesday everyone!
