beansideIt's Thursday, which means it's my Friday! And it's my short day (only by half an hour, but still.) I have very little planned, aside from a trip to the dispensary to pick up Jess some more bedtime gummies. And of course, D&D tomorrow night. Looking forward to that, as always.
Yesterday was as expected, boring. The main problem is that I'm fast on my markets. From what I've observed, most people would take much longer on them. Whether that's because they're slow, or because they're stretching them out, I have no clue. All I know is that I'm done my work by 9:30am at the latest. Then, it's a long wait, hoping that they come in early so I'll have more to do. And lately, they've been coming in between 4:30 and 5, right after I leave for the day.
As a result, I spend most of the day playing on my phone and surfing youtube, and chatting on Teams with a few people. By the time I get off for the day, I'm tired, even though I did nothing.
My sister is very interactive today. I am not nearly awake enough for this.
My tax forms came in earlier this week, so I spent an hour doing them. I'll be getting back a nice refund, which I'm looking forwards to. The US isn't processing returns until 1/24, so it might be a few weeks til I get it, but it'll be good when it does. It'll pay for our vacation in May, Covid dependent.
I'm hoping by then, it's calmed down a bit. We're only going to Hersheypark for a few days. I'm hoping we can swing a Friday-Monday visit. Three days at the park and come home on Monday. It would be a nice break. There's a couple of nice places on Vrbo.com. After Busch Gardens, I've definitely decided on doing a nice condo/apartment rental. That just was so much easier. I especially appreciated being able to make coffee first thing in the morning. Add to that a package of croissants and other easy food, and I'm good for the weekend.
