Okay a little less angsty today, I think. Getting it all out yesterday seems to have helped some. Dad was a little less obnoxious yesterday, which also helped.

Today and Sunday, I am off of work, which will give me a four day weekend. I decided I deserved it after spending a week doing delivery updates plus everyone's markets. Which is more than either of the other people who do delivery updates do in a day. I'm sure that contributed to my overall burnout. So, four days of rest and relaxation.

We have our first superhero game tomorrow, so I do have to write out the first session notes and reread the GM section of the players handbook. I've played the game before, but never GMed it, so there's a little nervousness there. On the plus side, it's a Powered by the Apocalypse game, just like MotW, so that is a huge help. On the minus side, the GM I played under has joined the game as a player, so that's a little nerve wracking. As long as everyone has fun, I'm happy. It doesn't have to be perfect, just enjoyable.

Everyone I know at work, save one person has Covid (or in one case, has a cough and cold symptoms, but is being hesitant to get tested). It's kind of freaking me out a bit. I really don't want to get it again, and it feels like an inevitability. I'm being careful, but I worry. I know Omicron is less severe, but I don't want to test that. For now, everything is being bought online, and/or curbside, as much as possible.

Short one today, I think. I shall now get on with rest and relaxation. And more coffee. Always more coffee.

Have a good Thursday everyone!
