beansideThankfully, I slept better last night. I ended up with a massive headache and acid reflux right around 6:30, so I went and laid down, took some pills, and felt a little better by the time I needed to be up to put Dad to bed.
Work was busy yesterday. Apparently one of my markets came in late on Monday, so it was still hanging around for me to do in the morning. The rest rolled in pretty regularly, so I didn't spend much time in the project folder, which was fine. Then at 2:30, my manager asked me to handle a few backorders in the inbox, so that took up a good chunk of the rest of my day. Most of them had to be cancelled, because most of their order was out of stock, but a few I was just able to remove the backorered item.
Was going to start cleaning the car out after work, but it was way too hot, and raining intermittently. By the time it was done, it felt like putting a hot washcloth over your entire body to go out in it. We'll try to work on that today. It's probably going to take a couple days--it's a total mess. You can't see the back seat at all. But we'll. get it there. It probably won't be spotless, but it'll be good enough for government work.
Trying to think of something to get for Dad for Father's day, not to mention his birthday, which is only 2 1/2 weeks later. He's notoriously hard to shop for, and two days so close together is a nightmare. We tend to get him anything he asks for when he asks for it, so it's not like he needs anything. Ah well, we've got a couple of weeks to think about it.
It's Wednesday, which means we're halfway through the week! Have a good one, y'all.
