Sunday and it's back to work again. As per usual, I could probably have managed more sleep today, but alas, 6am called and it was time to wake up. There are supposed to be some thunderstorms, so here's hoping we don't lose power. I'll have a busy day, working my markets, then the project as well. I shudder to think how many more orders have been added to the list on the days I was off. When I left on Thursday, we were at 1435.

Finally got my ass in gear, and went to the Amish market yesterday. Got meats for the week, including the steaks I'd been craving. They have these Prime Rib steaks that are perfect for slapping in the fry pan. Amazingly flavorful, and tender as anything. Also huge. I think I actually like them more than my beloved ribeye, which is saying something. We had those last night, and I was a happy camper. Of course, I have to cook one medium well for Dad, which hurts me in my soul. The rest of us are good with rare/medium rare.

There's a new Korean/Asian Fusion chain that opened in Towson called Bonchon I am very intrigued by their menu, and will probably order from there on Friday when I get paid. I'm a sucker for kimchi, what can I say? I'm torn between the Korean Tacos and the Japchae. Both sound really good, though I'm leaning towards the Japchae, because bulgogi and noodles.

Yesterday was Monster of the Week, of course! This time, my chaos gremlins met up with a horror movie classic: Zombies! Called in at a report of a grave robbery, our heroes used all their investigative powers to follow the trail to a apocalyptic cult that was set on drawing the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse to earth, in the bodies of four cultists who were convinced to kill themselves by their charismatic leader. The crew broke into the funeral home owner's house and found two zombies buried in the basement. After dispatching them, they went after the owner of the funeral home and found him digging up yet another zombie. But all our heroes bullets and spells had no effect, until they realized that he was standing in a salt circle, and with a particularly good shot, smudged the line. The zombie broke free of our villain's grasp and ripped him apart. Our heroes dispatched the last zombie, and peace reigned through out the land, apocalypse prevented.

All in all, it was a very good and fun nerdy weekend!
