Pfizer day three: Wow, my arm hurts. The rest of me seems to be falling back in line. I kept a bland diet yesterday that did the trick for the stomach issues, and the fever and chills seem to be gone, but my arm hurts like a son of a bitch. It's funny, because I didn't even feel the shot. The nurse who did it was so fucking good, I didn't feel a thing. I wouldn't have known I had it if it weren't for the band-aid. Verdict-Totally worth it.
Spent most of yesterday training the two women how to do the delivery updates. I don't know how that is going to go. They're half an hour in, and haven't texted me, so maybe it's going okay? I plan to slip onto Teams in incognito mode and check on them in an hour or so. I specifically put myself in Out of office mode so no one would be able to see that I'm on.
Of course, while I was training them, the updates were bugfuck insane yesterday. We had four late trailers, all of which needed to be rescheduled. I don't know how they're going to get all of them done, plus whatever comes in today.
Today, we shall watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and probably Godzilla vs Kong. This is assuming the dog moves and lets me sit next to Jess at some point. The seat beside them is prime real estate.
Jess had their shot yesterday (so far, just generally achy and blah), so the family is officially halfway vaccinated. I get my second one first on 4/19 and the rest go from there. Because Dad got the Moderna shot, he doesn't go back until 4/22. I should be in good shape with a sore arm from three days before, trying to push him in the wheelchair.

Date: 2021-04-05 11:10 am (UTC)I'm finally down to day after flu shot levels, which is a nice change.
I'm hoping since I had Covid, shot #2 will be a little less dramatic.
