beansideHave you ever noticed that my subjects have nothing to do with my post? Yeah, I just pick random song lyrics, and y'know, I don't seem to like many perky songs. Go figure. Today's random lyric is from Master of Puppets, by Metallica. A cheery little song, to be sure.
Yoda seems to be doing a little better today. He's not as uncomfortable, and he actually joined my sister in bed last night, which he hasn't in the last few days.
Jess says they feel a little better, but they're still having kidney pain. I'm beginning to think it might be a kidney stone, which would suck. Hopefully, when they get up this morning, they're feeling much better. Otherwise, we'll be making an appointment with either Urgent Care or a Urologist.
We've gotten a little snow so far, and are currently having sleet. My sister currently outside scraping her car, with the intent work, which does not make me happy. She's the manager of the site, so she's expected to be there, barring serious weather.
I feel a little bad, because she's managing a whole site, but I make $4/hour more than her, and I'm managing fuck all. Yet another reason that it's a little maddening that my job seems to be less important than hers.
My taxes came in! I have no debit card to access them! We're still waiting for the replacement card to come post the card being eaten by the ATM. Hopefully, it comes soon, and I can get my tires replaced, and get some bills paid. I think ubereats takes paypal, so I may get my sushi lunch today, which would be nice. I've been craving it something fierce. Hopefully, the weather won't be bad by then. If so, I'm sure they'll cancel the order. (Is it sad that in my glee at having money and potentially having sushi, I forgot that the weather was supposed to be shit?)
I shall now have more coffee, and put pants on, to slowly prepare for my work day. What will get thrown at me today? Who knows! It's always a mystery.
