Bad migraine last night. It was one of those where I hurt so much I couldn't lay still. It was of the suck. Once the pills kicked in, I crashed and had weird dreams. I don't remember a damned bit of them, but I remember thinking they were odd even while having it.
Work was alternately okay and then frustrating. Got pulled into another project, which I got done handily, only to have the Market Manager question the way I did it. I managed to reply back nicely, and we'll see how that goes. He hadn't replied again by the time I left. They switched up the workflows that we use for refunds, so I had a handful of cases that I had to go in and correct, which made me annoyed with myself. I'm supposed to be perfect first time, dammit. (While I'm aware this is not rational, and I was far from the only one with that problem, jerkbrain did not like it.)
Still no word from BGE about coming into do the meter. I have this horrible feeling they're going to give us like twenty minutes notice, and I'm going to have to call out and use sick time instead of my PTO. Which isn't a huge deal, but if last year taught me anything, it's that sometimes, you need the sick time.
Tomorrow, the dog has a grooming appointment, and while we're out we'll probably stop at the Amish market, even though it's a hellscape. I want to test my supposition that maybe it's the additives in meat that are making it taste bad, and they're the best option, since an actual butcher would be very expensive, and the Amish are only moderately expensive. Also it seems like a good idea, since it was their sausage that actually tasted good to me, despite being pork.
But that's for tomorrow. Today, I shall relax.
