beansideAnd back to work I go. Ugh. I could use another vacation.
It's looking like I'm going to have a big group for D&D. I've already got six, plus one of the players has a couple of friends who might like to join. This will require some scaling up of the monsters. Probably just more of them, so everyone gets a turn at combat. I'm okay with this, going with the more the merrier philosophy. They're all fandom people, which isn't a guarantee that they'll be well behaved, but it does usually help.
I'll be picking up the module when I get paid on Friday, and then it's just a matter of working schedules out. So far, the only day I have booked is our MotW game in two weekends.
Aside from that, all is quiet. I cooked out on the grill yesterday, so we had hamburgers and hotdogs, and three tasty NY Strip steaks. (I would have rather had ribeye, but the store didn't have that.)
Jess tried a new strain of cannabis, Blue Frost. It seems to be excellent with pain relief, but does make them feel a little stoned. They didn't seem noticeably stoned, but they said they felt like they were obvious. It's definitely going on the rotation for pain relief, but Purple Punch is so far the favored strain for every day.
