beansideAs expected, yesterday was a big day of nothing. The most exciting thing was a brief trip to pickup dinner from Boston Market.
I was disappointed to find that turkey doesn't taste the same post Covid. I mean, not a shock, since most meats don't, but since it's my favorite, I had hopes that it wouldn't have that faintly rancid edge that most meats do, but alas. I still hope that Cracker Barrel's tastes better on Thursday. The sides tasted good, so that's something.
I had a turkey sandwich with dressing and gravy, and that was pretty good, and also got me over the 350 calories I need for my Latuda, which can be a pain with not eating as much because shit doesn't taste good. It was heavier on carbs than my doctor would like, but he can fuck right off. I'm certainly not going to get the calories from the little bit of meat I can tolerate. The cornbread was also tasty, and we got extra.
I slept tolerably well, but woke up with a big fuck-off headache. It's a little better post coffee, but once I eat something, I will definitely be hitting the ibuprofen.
Back to work today, whoo. But it's a four day week thanks to Thanksgiving, so that's nice. And I have MotW next weekend, which is always something to look forward to.
