beansideIt's Saturday! And that means I'm going to do absolutely nothing. I mean, that's pretty much been the whole pandemic, so no shock there.
Got all our errands done yesterday, and Jess is now the proud owner of some medical cannabis. Of course, they had to try a hit, and we found out that they're now a lightweight. Two puffs off the pre-rolled joint, and they were lazy and happy for hours. It was quite frankly adorable. That joint is going to last forever at this rate. The Good Night sleep aid were equally effective, and Jess got a good hard night's sleep. I'm a little envious, I have to admit.
That was definitely the highlight of the day. The rest was mostly relaxing, and then cooking out on the grill. Jess discovered that hamburgers with Nando's Perinaise are fucking amazing.
I have mixed feelings about Supernatural ending. It doesn't sound like they stuck the ending particularly well from what I'm hearing. As Jess said, it would have been a good ending ten years ago, but not now. However, that said, I will always have a fondness for show. It was good to me for the first six years or so, and the fandom of the first two seasons has a special place in my heart. I found some amazing friends, and wrote some fic that I'm still proud of. So, deep down, I guess I'm a little sad that it's over, even if I haven't watched it in years.
