Okay, going to be less depressing today.

I actually got some sleep, which was nice, though it meant that my alarm going off was very unwelcome. For space purposes, I only have a couple of songs on my Ipad Mini, which is what I use as an alarm. So, every day I wake up to "How to Save a Life" as sung by the Greys Anatomy cast. The plinky piano at the beginning is not an unpleasant way to wake up.

I remain concerned about the attempted coup of our democracy, but since the judges seem to be throwing out the Cheeto's suits left and right, it's helping my anxiety some. I'm still anxious, but not constantly feeling two steps from a panic attack feeling I had pre-election.

I took a half day from work today, which is my Friday. It's a nice little way to extend my weekend.

Tomorrow, I have to hit our local candy store, and get some candy to flesh out the package for my CandySwap recipient. I know they like things that have flavor over plain chocolate. Thankfully, they were pretty open for anything, so I'll try to get some fun stuff. Then off to the post office to send it off to the UK. I'm shuddering to think of postage, but needs must.

This weekend is Monster of the Week, and I look forward to seeing what my chaos goblins get up to next. I want to write up a summary, so we'll all know what we did, seeing as it's been three weeks. We'll see if writing brain will cooperate.

yay, half day! enjoy your weekend!!

I hope you find some interesting candy to complete your box - and that postage isn't too dire. international mailing gets expensive, even letters add up fast.
