Insert camel here for hump day.
Yesterday, I was seriously unmotivated, and I considered taking the rest of the week off. I didn't, but I thought about it. I already have Thursday off, because it's Yoda's day of beauty. The groomer he likes only had openings on Thursday until mid-November, so Thursday it is. Don't want him getting more poopy butt than he already has. I swear, the week before his appointment, he will get a poopy butt, so I will feel incredibly guilty about inflicting him on Ms. Paulette.
Today, I feel unmotivated, and I have a headache, so I'm mildly regretting my decision not to take off. I will live, it's just a sinus/weather headache, but it's annoying.
I've been trying to watch Enola Holmes on Netflix, but I've only managed to do so in 20 minute snippets. It's hard to find time, except on days off, and then it's contingent on Dad finding something to watch on his tablet.
At the moment, he's been downloading books from Audible to listen to. Which is good. I was getting damn tired of hearing about Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who apparently has a podcast? Even if he weren't a sexual harrasser, he's always come across as a little bit of an asshole to me. I'm sure he's much smarter than me, but no one likes a know it all. He was listening to Penny Marshall's memoir and now has downloaded Gary Marshall's. So I know what the topics of our conversation will be. It keeps him from over obsessing about the election and trashfire that is the US, so it's good.
(Obsessing over the trashfire is my job, anyhow.)
Aside from Yoda's appointment and our RPG game on Saturday, there's nothing else exciting on the bill for this weekend. All the ethnic festivals are over for the year, which is sad. Technically, the Russian Festival goes on all month, but I don't have any money to order more food. Which is a shame, because next week is beef stroganoff week. Festivals are by their nature expensive, and I just don't have the $13/plate. I can do that once a month. Though I'd love to get more pastries. They were baller.
