It's Monster of the Week day! Yay! I'll spend the day fussing with my outline, then be ready for gaming at 4pm. I still can't get the Discord voice to work on my computer, so I'll be on my phone again. Discord help has been anything but, so we'll see if that ever gets fixed. I hope so, cause it's really fucking annoying.
I went to bed early, so of course that meant I was up at 6am. Joy. I finally gave up at 7:30am, and dragged my butt out of bed to make coffee. At this point, I am fully caffeinated after 2 cups. At the moment, I'm the only one awake. I could be listening to my audiobook, but I don't have the focus yet. By the time I do, someone will be awake, no doubt. The down side of waking up on my own, instead of with an alarm--I take much longer to wake up all the way. Or alternately, it's that during the week, I have my sister to be interactive at me, which wakes me up. That's probably more likely.
I think up until I started playing TTRPGs, I was lonely. I had work chat, but that is mostly about things related to work, so it doesn't really count. I might still be a little lonely, but I'm working on that. The Old Guard community didn't really work out for me. It was worth two little fics, but since then, I've kind of petered out. I still lurk in the community, but it just wasn't what I wanted.
I still miss the early days of SPN, where we all gelled so well. There was wank, but for the most part, it was warm and welcoming, and I met people I'm still friends with to this day. After the first season, we had a slash con. Jess and I got our tattoos with one of those friends at a Christian tattoo shop. (The dude at our hotel recommended the shop-we had no idea. It was one of those great WTF moments.) It ended up pretty good, though at some point, I really need to get my dragon touched up--it's been nearly 15 years, after all.
