beansideIt is the day of Tues? Things are quiet here at Beanside-haus. I spent the morning reading Allie Brosh's new book. It was a lot heavier than I expected, and I'm a little sad after reading it. Parts were hysterical, but she's obviously had a rough stretch, and it shows.
I'm still personally riding the "feelings are bullshit" train. I have feelings and some of them are sad and frustrated, and I've forgotten how to cope with them. Mostly my strategy seems to be to sit with them or pretend they're not there and have a meltdown later. Fortunately, the meltdown doesn't seem to happen often, so that's a bonus.
I've been frustrated with myself. I don't feel like I'm doing enough to help out around the house, but I'm limited due to allergies and asthma, and the sheer amount of dust in the house. Dust+asthma=bad, y'all. Jess has been making this herculean effort to get the house in shape, and I've sat in my office, doing my office work. Sometimes, I feel like a bit of a fraud. I'm theoretically adulting, but it doesn't feel like much.
Okay, enough of that.
I gave up for the moment on rewriting the Monster of the Week game. I think I'm going to get through this week, and then decide what to do next. I feel like I've got one pretty well thought out for the Saturday game. Plus, I pulled another game off the net that involves the Tooth Fairy as an inter-dimensional demon, which seems like it could be fun.
