Yup, up early again. Stayed in bed til 7, because coffee at 4:30am is just depressing. I could have binged something on Netflix, I suppose. I've been thinking about giving The Boys another try. But staying curled up next to Jess wins every time.
Now I'm just sitting here, pacing the internet until it's time to work. Whoo.
Yesterday was pretty good. We had our TTRPG game Masks, so that was fun. The dice did not favor us at all, but it was still fun. I'm thinking about running a Monster of the Week game, but I have to think about it more. I always enjoyed GMing, though. Jess said if I do, she'll play, so that's one person! I just have to work out how to upload shit on Roll 20.
Aside from that, the only other thing I did during the day was go pick up a new SodaStream canister, so I can have my fizzy water again. This makes me happy.
I'm working on a review for the Duke Who Didn't, but I am woefully out of practice. I don't know how to say what I want to beyond "keysmash awesome." I will work on it, since I want to have the review up in time for the September 22 release date. It was good enough that my severely scattered brain let me read it in one sitting, which is rare.
My brief bout of fanishness about the Old Guard seems to have waned. I still love the movie, but I never really clicked with any of the fandom. I'm a little sad about that. It was nice to have that feeling again. Hopefully, if I GM, I'll get some of my storytelling out that way.
I guess I have to find breakfast beyond a piece of the delicious Amish coffee cake. Some protein is required. Maybe I'll have some of the cheese curds I got at the Amish market. That might work. I'll leave the honey goat cheese for Jess.
It's not looking good for our boating expedition. Weather is not looking good so far for any outdoor activities. *sigh* That's still just under a week away, so there is time for it to change. We shall see.
