It's my Friday! Thursdays are usually long days, though. My markets have had time to work up some steam during the week, so the spreadsheets are usually a mess.

Was randomly sad yesterday. Just too much of everything, I think. We watched some Umbrella Academy, which helped for a while, but the evening I was just blah. We went to bed early and listened to Rusty Quill Gaming, which always helps, even if the GM Alex is evil. But we respect his craft, as they say. (Truth, I absolutely adore Alex, and pretty much everyone on the podcast, though he and the two women, Helen and Lydia are my favorites.) Alex has the most soothing voice. It's like a hit of pure serotonin.

Due to lack of $$, we are out of most foodstuffs. We have food for dinner, and of course, PB&J for lunches, just nothing snacky. I want snacky food. I have a quarter of a bag of white chocolate chips, which are good, and fairly low in carbs, so that's nice, but I want chips something fierce. I've got a big instacart order waiting for Friday when I get paid. It has so much shit, y'all. Olive tapenade, ffs. If nothing else, we'll have picnic foods for our outing.

Tomorrow or Saturday, I (or we) are going to brave the hellscape that is our local Amish market, and get some cheeses and rolls. They have this honey goat cheese that is the best. And the rolls are like the platonic ideal of what a roll should be--light, fluffy and yeasty deliciousness. It's usually crowded as hell, and I'm sure social distancing is a foreign concept, but it'll be worth it for the good food. If I end up going tomorrow, I'll probably pick up a few steak and cheese soft pretzels for lunch. Or their hawg wings, which are the Amish market version of riblets. I will also pick up some apple sausage that I can cook on the grill, and maybe some other meats, though I think we have a few ribeyes in the freezer. I'll have to take a look. That reminds me to add charcoal to our instacart order.

I think boating for a few hours is going to win the race for things to do on our day out. We looked at tubing, but the thought of being stranded on a raft without my phone freaks me out. Also, as a fat person, getting in and out of the tube is not easy or graceful and gives me anxiety.

My shoulder is acting up again. Its a vague burning in the joint, the joint is warm and it hurts doing random things. Holding up a full coffee mug, ow. Trying to stretch it out, leaning in a doorframe and holding my leaning weight, fine. It's done this before, but not to this extent for a while. Dr. Google tells me it's probably arthritis or bursitis, and not much can be done for either except heat and anti-inflammatory meds. I wore a heat pack last night, but it doesn't seem to have helped much.

Okay, time to sort out what I'm having for breakfast. I don't really feel like eggs, which would be the top contender. Maybe ramen.
