Apparently, I need more leadership experience in order to get a job that would give me leadership experience?

*sigh* I'll get over it, but right now, it really stings.

But honestly, now that you’ve put your name out there as wanting to move toward managerial, it becomes easier for them to think about you in that role, and to think of you for other temp roles or projects that give you (in their minds) a little more of the experience they’re looking for.
