beansideYesterday was a rough day. No real reason. I just felt scattered and antsy. Latuda is doing good things for me, but unfortunately, the emotions I wasn't feeling weren't 100% good. I just felt down for no good reason. I'm a little better today, I think.
I'm worried about my interview today. I'm not sure I have a satisfactory answer to the question "Why do you want this job." I figure I'll spin some not quite bullshit about enjoying helping coworkers while I was floor support. Hopefully, it's enough. I'm not especially good at selling myself. I don't know who I'm up against, because no one I know seems to have applied. I can guess at a couple, though I'm not sure how they feel about the pandemic and having to work in the office. I, of course, already had Covid, and have some immunity, though according to studies, that may not last very long, so I will continue to be careful should I get it.
I also have had the itch to do something. I think Jess and I may go swimming in the local quarry for a change of pace. It's outside so as long as we social distance (and really, I'd have done that pandemic or not, because I don't like people), we should be fine. I'm not quite ready to go to the Y's indoor pool, but I really miss the water.
This is your five day warning for Con.Txt. They have some good panels, and I'm looking forward to being int he midst of fandom. We're so spread out these days that we've lost some of the community, and it'll be nice to have it back, if only for a day. I'm going to be severely outnumbered by The Untamed fans, but I plan to pimp The Old Guard like a motherfucker.
I'll probably check back in after the interview, either to say it went well, or to bitch that it was a shitshow.
