I'm lying. I've been waiting for Monday in hopes I get a call or email about the job posting. I figure if I don't hear anything by Wednesday, I'll touch base with my manager. I really would like this job. Even if it's a temp position, it gives me a leg up when a permanent job opens up. (Plus, they always need managers, so it's possible that it wouldn't be so temporary.)

I picked up a couple cute things for potential interview clothing. A skirt from Cato Fashion that I just love, and would go well with a black henley top I have or some cute patterned tops, and a dress from Old Navy. I have a black short sleeve jacket to go with the dress if it were to come in time.

We went to Torrid, but the only skirt I liked that they had was enormous. I figured it would be a little big, since it was a size above what I've worn in the past, but it was falling off my hips big.

I didn't find that out until I got it home, since fitting rooms are closed right now. So, that'll be a trip to return it. I did get an absolutely adorable shirt on clearance, and a pair of stripey pants that need to be hemmed. I am a short person, so they're about 6-8 inches too long for me. Which reminds me, I need to see what the local dry cleaner/tailor's hours are.

I'm back to my normal 10-6:30 schedule starting this week, so if they open early, I could go over before work one day.

Sorry, I'm a little all over today. Nerves about the potential interview, and wanting to know now.

I've been on the Latuda for about two weeks now, and I'm definitely noticing a difference. Unfortunately, part of that is having feelings again. I had a headache last night, and the cat wouldn't stop meowing in an attempt to get fed twice, and I ended up crying because he wouldn't stop and it was frustrating and overstimulating. He does this every night, so it shouldn't be a surprise, but it just set me off. Last week,it was because Jess' sandals said delivered, but were not on the doorstep. It was just tragic to me. (They were totally in the mailbox.)

It's definitely more good than bad. I mean, I had the focus to watch The Old Guard all the way through.

And speaking of The Old Guard, have y'all seen this scene? It's been all over Twitter, but it was awesome and deserves to be seen by everyone.

Apparently, it was in the comic book writer's contract that this scene had to be in the movie. I really appreciated the relationship. It was well written and informed the characters, but it wasn't all of them. They were also badass with a sword. I have fairly simple needs. It also flew past the Bechdel test by having not one, but three females the main character interacted with. Also passed the Mako Mori test. (That's the one where the female character has a plot arc that drives the movie, named after Pacific Rim, which did not pass the Bechdel test, but had an amazing hero's journey for the female lead.)

The Old Guard made me so happy! I had no idea what I was watching (Charlize Theron) and then was So Rewarded.
