beanside | Happy Holidays, and stuff.

It's been a long, kinda iffy lead up to the holidays this year, but I wanted to acknowledge the good. First up, thank you to all the Deities that brought our kitten home.

Second, I had a really rough birthday, filled with the feelings of inadequacy, and invisibility, so thank you to everyone who left a comment on facebook, dropped me a note, e card, or in the case of

aranya4 gave me paid account time, I appreciate it. It mattered.

Mind you, between the kitty and birthday, I still managed to have full out crying binges no less than 3 times in the span of 3 days. Go team me. Shockingly, my period showed up less than a week later, so at least it had some reason.

I managed to get the cold/cough from work, so now I'm sitting at home, in the vaporizer, trying to remember why I should give a fuck about Christmas tomorrow. Whoo. Jess is in Tx, I feel like ass, and oh yeah, my uncle is in the hospital with probable stage 4 colon cancer. We're not close, I'm more worried about the impact on my parents.

Anyhow, I'd like to wish you all a merry whatever you celebrate, and a bright new year, with all that you wish for.
