Disrespectful? WTF? I don't even want to know why people think it's disrespectful, do I? Nope. I'm betting I don't.

In other news:

1. Does this mean that someone somewhere is writing Tommy/Kirk fic? I'm just sayin'.

2. Huh. So that's what "Sandman" would sound like if the singer singing it actually had range. (For those who don't know--because I know that beanside knows what I mean, I am a big Metallica fan. Have been since before And Justice For All. But, James Hetfield is not a singer with range. He is many, many things, but a vocalist with range is not one of them. Doesn't mean I like him any less. It's just true.)

3. Tommy can head bang. Adam, well, it doesn't look like it's in his oeuvre of normal concert movements. It is therefore that much more adorable that he was willing to sing the song for Tommy.

I would edit this to add, but I can't.

I cruised over to youtube to link to the vid in my journal, and lo, I saw the comments.

I don't know why I'd managed to forget about some stupid metal fans who clearly aren't terribly big fans. Lars and Kirk were kissing on camera before the anyone in Adam's touring crew were old enough to have had the training wheels off their bikes.

Of course, some Metallica fans seem to forget about that . . .
