Date: 2010-09-05 12:02 am (UTC)2. Strausburg PA. An amazing ghost tours that we took a while ago, before we both became disabled. In a lot of ways, it was the seed for "Of Bastard Saints." 200 pages that all started with the cemetery fight, and a couple of scenes between Dean, Sam, and John.
3. The boardwalk at Ocean City, Md, which inspired Thriller (http://tallific.tallikat.com/archive/1/thriller.html), one of the first fics written with my wife. It's a Metallica fic, which was written during our very first vacation together as a courting couple.
4. Loch Ness, Scotland. Another vacation, another Metallica fic, about a male banshee and the laird of the castle..
5. The US South, in general. So much of my inspiration comes from where I go, and I love the south. Occasional problematic politics aside, most of the places that I love are south of the Mason Dixon Line, and my fic reflects it.
