One by one, until there are none...

As jess posted yestersay, we rescued our 100th dog this weekend. She was one of six who took the ride with us this trip.

100 dogs who weren't put down for overcrowding or for being so called "vicious" breeds. 100 tiny pieces of our lives.
My favorites are the handful of times that we've delivered them to their forever homes. Whether it was watching Brock, the lab-pit mix make fast friends with his new boy while his parent chatted with Jess and I, or squeals of delight at meeting their new fuzzball, its truly been our pleasure and honor.

The people who give ip their time and homes are amazing, and the transport coordinators sould be in charge of the world. They have an amazing ability to get the job done, week after week. 15 or more legs of travel with up to three drivers per leg? Wow.

Here's to the next hundred.
