Apparently, what it takes for my body to be happy is 11 hours of sleep. Who knew? Got home from work at 6:30 last night and promptly curled up next to Jess and slept until about 8. Woke up briefly for some cuddling, then went back to sleep until 5:00 this morning. Dozed until six. Actually feel rested for a change.
I'll be heading to vote after work, which should be fun. Me and half of Maryland, whoohoo!
Maybe I'll stop at the drive through dunkin doughnuts and get the workers some treats.
We had a nice weekend, even if it basically knocked me out for the week. Saturday, we helped out the All-American Dachshund Rescue, doing a leg of transport for one of their dogs. His name was Wiggles, and he was going from his foster to his forever home.

He was exceedingly cute, as you can see. On our leg, he mostly slept on Jess, with his head firmly resting on her bosom. Minus the other doxie, it kind of looked like this:

We got him to the next leg and romped the hell out of him, which sadly only succeeded in tiring us out. *grin* He's now happily at his new home, having a good time.
Rather sweetly, the new home requested that we all have pictures with him, so she'd have a scrapbook of all the people who helped to bring him home.
Sunday was the gem and jewelry show. Got a metric fuckton of beads, which were lovely, but holy shite, it knocked us both out.
*sigh* So far this morning, I've given 4 shots, making 3 children cry. It's a banner day!
