Well, well. Holy shit, I did not think they were going to go there.
Also, how did they convince the network to let them be so fucking gory? Yeesh. Jess hid her eyes during Dean's disembowelment. I personally watched and thought it was kind of cool as fuck. Hell is not supposed to be pretty. *grin*
But wow. Did the office have a "how bleak can we make the finale" contest? Yeesh. And now, we have to wait til September?!? This is gonna suck. Good thing we've got Season 4 already okayed.
It occurred to me that despite John now having been dead for two years, he really has loomed over this season. The always present specter of "Remember what Dad taught you," has been big this season. And I'd love to see him show up next season for a cameo as a ghost, or angel or whatever. *grin*
Also, Jared and Jensen knocked it out of the fucking park. As did Jim. God, I love Bobby. So Much.
And the kid who played Lilith? Ew. *shudder* The bloodstained dress and ew.
I kind of loved Ruby in this ep. And I loved the return of Smart!Dean. *grin* Also, when Lilith was in Ruby's body? "It's all pretty and grown up." Ew, ew, ew.
So yes, Kripke, as always, owns me. *nod*

Date: 2008-05-16 02:17 pm (UTC)Dude. The little girl who played Lilith was the most terrifying thing I've EVER SEEN (it didn't help that she has the same big-blue-eyed, sweet-mouthed, round-cheeked face as my favorite wee cousin Jenna - who is also about 7 and AAAAAAAAAH). I kept covering MY eyes when she was talking with 'her family' but didn't during the disembowelment. Which...says something about me, even if I don't know what it is.
SHOW. SHOOOOOOW.
