It's Saturday, and it's a work day. It'll only be 4 hours, and so I'm okay with it. I've got the next two weeks off, so it's all good.
The week continues to be fairly busy at work, with 51 calls yesterday. Normally Friday is our slowest day. I'm looking forward to the deductibles resetting so we don't get quite so many calls. By the end of the day, I'm kind of tired of people at the current speed.
The other thing is that I don't feel like doing anything when I'm done, which is annoying. I moved my schedule so that I could get off early, but lately I've been so wiped out that going somewhere is out of the question. Maybe that'll improve when the holidays turn over.
Game today is in jeopardy due to illness, so if that falls through, I may offer to run a MotW game tonight. I was waiting for the doctor to reply to Jess, so I didn't schedule anything last night.
Today, either after game or after work, if the noon game ends up cancelling, we're going to go get noodles. I found a place not too far away that makes hand pulled noodles, which I've been craving. The only question is round noodles or thin noodles. Both look amazing.
I got a new toy for myself. It's a rainbow backlit keyboard. It's adorable, though it will take some getting used to. It sits higher than my old, and also has round keys. So finger placement will be slow. I love when it's not in use, the rainbow lights just kind of do a wave pattern. I walked past to go to the bathroom and stood there entranced for a moment.
Okay, time to get myself together. Maybe take a quick shower. Everyone have the best Saturday!
