Welcome to an especially Monday-ish Monday. I did not want to drag myself out of bed, but the lure of coffee was too strong.
Yesterday was a quiet, somewhat frustrating day. I got my work done relatively quickly, though I had a few extra things to get done. In the meantime, the person who works the inbox was off for Easter, and her backup was leaving at 10. I communicated this to the team, and asked that the inbox be a team project for the day. I got some thumbs ups on the message. Then, I went in an cleared it out. The rest of the day, I watched. No one did a single fucking email. I just sat there and watched, because damn, I am tired of doing other people's jobs.
Today, I'll probably end up doing it anyway, but I refused to do a damn thing yesterday.
At least after the annoyance, I had D&D. We're following up Lost Mine of Phandelver with Storm Lord's Wrath, and so far it's going very well. It was a combat heavy night, but they also managed to advance the plot in the meantime. It was a fun night and helped me shake of my annoyance.
Now, I have two nights of no TTRPGs before our Wednesday game of Blades in the Dark. It's a fairly light weekend, with only one game on Friday and nothing on Saturday or Sunday.
I took time to schedule my tweets for CONfab, and now I shall go forth and put on pants. Everyone have the best Monday possible!
