It's Monday and oh lord, it's early. Since I have to go into the office, I'm up at 5:30, and after a restless sleep, I'm feeling it. I'm currently trying to down my coffee so that I wake up a bit. I don't know that there's enough coffee in the day. Oh well, I only have to be awake til 12, then I can take it easy. Sure, I'll still be in the office, but no one will actually care. At least J is back today, so I'll have someone to talk to.
My sister just got up, and oh lord, she's interactive. I am not awake enough to be chatty woman. Give me time for the coffee to hit. Okay, now she's putting on the TV. And now she's talking to the TV. *sigh*. I will deal, but it's annoying.
Last nignt, we had a sort of session 0 for the Spelljammer campaign I am playing in. The DM wanted to run a couple of things past us as far as content, and we needed time to discuss what shopping we wanted to do for magical items. Mostly it was just social, which was good, though by the end, my misophonia was kicking in, and I kind of wanted to rip the earbud (and possibly my ear) off and throw them across the room. I did end up signing off about half an hour early, but I'm pretty sure everyone did.
Unfortunately, due to work shenanigans for one of our players, we had to cancel Frostmaiden for Wednesday. This is sad, but makes sense. The characters are heading into the final part of the module, where it's one boss fight after another. I'd hate for someone to miss. Also it's one of our rogues, who can do 60+ points of damage in one shot, and the party may need that. I'm still disappointed that we can't play, though. I have this session thoroughly planned out, and I'm itching to see how it goes.
Today is my interview. I'm not horribly nervous this time. I'm going to do my best and if that's not good enough, oh well. I don't know how many managers they're hiring this time. Probably a few, since they've lost a lot lately.
I don't know if it's me who has to go see Dad tonight or my sister. Either way, I'm going to have to go on a day that I'm in the office, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
Okay, time to go forth and get myself together. Gotta look professional and presentable. Everyone have the best Monday you can have!
