And it's back to morning. I've got a bunch of meetings today and I believe that I'm doing delivery updates, so that'll be fun. With going back in the office, IKEA has been throwing all the "how to behave" meetings at us, and today is the relationship meeting. Aka, "Don't fuck your coworkers, and if you do, you'd better report it." It's sure to be a lot of fun. Since there have been times that we've resembled Peyton Place, it's probably needed. I also have the monthly LGBT forum, assuming I ever get an invite to the teams meeting.
My appointment with the ENT yesterday was kind of a fizzle. He has no idea what's causing the dizziness. I have to get more testing. An MRI with contrast (ew) and a balance test. So that's fun. I'm already having anxiety about the MRI. I'm not a huge fan of being enclosed and I dislike the idea of contrast, so it's going to be loads of fun. I have to drive myself, since we can't leave dad that long, so I can't even pop anti-anxiety meds. Oh, and I also have to wear a cloth mask that has no nose piece, so that's more anxiety. I'm attached to my KN95 masks. The balance test isn't a big deal, aside from the fact that I have to go to Owings Mills, which is the hellscape of traffic.
Didn't do a whole lot else yesterday, just kind of relaxed. It was pretty quiet. I watched Uncharted, which was definitely not worth the $20 it cost. (Whoever fucking ordered it.) It wasn't offensive, just a bog standard action movie that thought invoking Indiana Jones was clever.
I've got two days of work, then I'm off to take Yoda to the vet, which is always fun. He will not be happy with us. The vet is still doing curbside drop off due to Covid. This is actually better, as he'll behave better without us there. He's kind of a little asshole that way.
I have a booming social schedule for the next few weeks. I've got Yoda to the vet Thursday, Sam to the vet on Friday, my shrink on Monday, vacation starting on the 19th, the MRI on the 27th, and the balance test on June 3. Then, a couple of weeks later, I have the neurologist. Fortunately, most of my appointments are on Friday, so that's good. Less time than I need to take off.
Okay, pants have been achieved. Time for coffee and getting ready for the day. Have a good Tuesday everyone!
