I don't know why, but sleep has not been my friend the last few nights. I just can't seem to stay asleep. Last night was a little better-I only woke up a few times, but it's annoying the hell out of me. I'm tired of being tired.
Yesterday was boring as fuck. Only one of my markets came in, and it was one of the small ones. Even the ones that normally come in around 2 didn't show up, so I had exactly nothing to do. I played Township on my phone and read the first Murderbot Chronicle. (Yeah, I know I'm late to the party, but I really enjoyed it.)
Today, hopefully, the markets came in last night, so I'll have something to do, plus I have two meetings. One is a focus group for a new storage product and one is our normal team meeting. Looking forward to the focus group, because this is the first time I've done one. Not so much looking forward to the team meeting. Last one devolved into a bitchfest, and I'm not really looking forward to another. My new manager still has to learn to rein in the team a little bit. Or a lot.
I'm not sure why we've been doing team meetings every two weeks. There can't be that much new shit to pass on. A good half of it is usually taken up by a cursed icebreaker. (I fucking hate icebreakers.)
I'm currently waiting for my money to transfer from my credit union to my new Tmobile bank account. It's come out of my credit union, but hasn't hit the new account yet. Tmobile is offering a 4% APR on balances up to $3000, if you use your card 10 times a month. I definitely do that, so I shifted the balance of the tax money over to get the extra $$. I know it won't be much, but it's still more than the credit union does.
I ordered a few things from Torrid and Shein, and am now in the "Package?" phase of the ordering process. I'm trying a pair of size 20 jeans, since the Old Navy 22's are a little big, and require pulling up once in a while. I'm hoping they fit, since I'll be going back to the office part time soon. I'm trying to look more put together in the hopes that the higher ups will see me as managerial. I've never ordered from Shein before, but they had a couple really cute and inexpensive tops, so if they don't fit, it's not horrible. I've heard that they can run kind of small, so we shall see. According to the shipping notice, the jeans are supposed to come tomorrow. Yay!
I'm still debating on getting a back up pair of glasses from Zeelool. On one hand, I have the backup pair from the eye doctor, but I also hate them. There's this really cute and kind of unusual pair that I really like. But on the other hand, they don't take my FSA card, so I'd have to use real money and then get reimbursed. Looks like they're sold out at the moment, so I don't have to decide right now.
Okay, time to get myself together for work. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
