Why are mornings? Ugh. I could have used another hour or so. Even a half hour would have been nice. But, alas it was time to get up for work, so here I am. I feel like I say that a lot, but mornings just seem to come early some mornings.
We went yesterday to pick up Grace's ashes. I was doing really well until they brought the little box out, and handed us an envelope with a lock of her fur. Then, I cried some more. Such a big personality reduced to such a tiny little box. It seems wrong.
Work was a slog yesterday. I really didn't want to get back in the groove after vacation. I enjoyed my break, and I wanted more. Mind you, another day or so and I'd have been driving myself crazy, so probably better that I went back to work.
Work today should be mostly quiet, since I was able to do one of my markets yesterday, so there's just the one to work through today. Aside from that, not much to do.
We still haven't heard a peep about if we're getting the bonus, and if so, how much. It's been a month since the fiscal year ended, so it would be nice to get some information. I'm not expecting it to be much, but it would still be nice. Last time we got it, it was apparently only a few hundred, which would be absolutely fine!
Okay, the cat is yelling at me, so I'm going to go stir up his food and get some more coffee. Have a good Wednesday everyone!
