Okay, ready to go back to bed. I did not sleep very well last night--a lot of up and down all night. I ended up taking some more Benadryl around midnight, and now I have a little bit of a hangover. I will definitely be hitting the coffee hard. I'd do a lot of unholy things for a latte right now.

But it's Thursday, my last day of work for the week! Which is good. The two days off at the beginning of the week have thrown my rhythm off, making it a struggle to get stuff done.

Yesterday, I tried listening to Dave Grohl's biography, but I just had trouble focusing. Today, I think I may try a novella that they recced on Smart Bitches, Trashy Books, called A Spindle Splintered. I was going to wait for it to come in at the library, but I have credits on Audible, so I figured why not? I managed to listen to Seanan McGuire's When Sorrows Come without much trouble or focus issues, so I'm hopeful that fiction is the right thing to do. I also haven't made it through Broken, and I love Jenny Lawson's books.

I have to make sure my comments on my Performance Evaluation are complete and coherent, since I have that on Sunday morning. I'm sure it'll be fine, but this is the big one that'll determine my raise for the year. It's only going to be between 3-4%, but I'll take it.

This week is D&D week and then some. I have games on Friday night, Saturday afternoon and the new "Wild beyond the Witchlight" game on Sunday evening. It'll be a few weeks until we can play again, due to RL stuff, but we'll figure it out.

I miss vacation. I think there would have been a little bit of a letdown coming home, but coming home to a dead cat really sent us back to earth with a thud, I really miss our little condo, and having no responsibilities. We had so much fun, but now we don't really have anything in the near future to look forward to, since our next visit won't be until spring. I'm hoping we can do something in maybe April after all the spring break stuff is over. Maybe early May. It looks like the park is open all week then, so if we could go on a Wednesday and have Thursday and Friday in the park, it might not be so busy. The majority of planning won't happen until January when we get our taxes back.

My sister goes on vacation in a week and a half, which I want her to have, but I'm not looking forward to spending three days upstairs in her bed. But someone needs to be upstairs in case Dad needs something. Still, it's going to suck.

Okay, I think I've rambled enough for today. Have a good Thursday everyone!
