I slept like a rock last night, which is good. I probably won't sleep as well tonight with excitement. I have a busy day today after work. The money from Dad's retirement account came in, so I put in a big grocery order. First, I'll stop at the bank to get money to put in our account, then pick up the groceries. Then, I'll stop at our bank and put in said money. Then, it'll be home to cook dinner. Somewhere in there, I have to fill up the tank as well.
Tomorrow, we'll get the bike out of my trunk, and be ready to go whatever time my brother in law gets here to keep an eye on Dad. Hopefully, a little early, but no later than 4. Then we'll be on our way!
I've reached the point where I'm excited, but I'm also thinking that I'm going to miss my animals something fierce, even if it's only for three days. I also am nervous about the drive, which also is not unexpected. I'll be fine once we get going, but I am a born worrier.
I set up my third COVID vaccine for the end of October. Considering the side effects I tend to have, I'm not looking forward to it. I'm going to lay in a stock of ginger ale for the nausea and vomiting, and I scheduled it for after work on a Thursday so that I probably won't have to miss any time off work from it. I expect Friday to be sucky and Saturday to be a bit better.
Vacation in 1 day! *muppet flail* I'm so ready to be out of here for a few days. Okay, time to get more coffee and prepare for work. Have a good Wednesday!
