For some reason, I'm actually awake this morning. I forgot to grab more Rybelsus to put in my purse, so I can't eat anything for another 20 minutes, which is annoying. Normally, I take it at 4-ish when I wake up for a few minutes, so it doesn't interfere with my immediate coffee intake. I thought about getting up and getting the pills when I woke up, but I was warm and snuggled in, and I just didn't feel like it.
Work was excruciatingly boring yesterday. Nothing came in until about half an hour before it was time to leave, by which time I got almost nothing done, so this morning will be busy at least. It's my early day, and we have a team meeting (fun, fun), so anything that comes in this afternoon will probably not get done.
We've got two days til vacation now! OMG, it's coming up so fast! We packed last night so that's all good. One little carryon suitcase stuffed to the gills. Brother in law is coming over on Thursday so that we can leave a little bit early and hopefully miss some of the traffic around the Washington DC beltway. It's still going to take about 4 hrs to get there, even if traffic isn't bad. Depending on what time we get past DC, we'll decide whether we want to stop for dinner or if we'd rather get grubhub when we arrive.
On the good side, we finally got our new D&D scheduled. We're going to do it on a Sunday after work, around 5:30pm. It'll be a busy weekend, as we'll have our regular D&D, Rime of the Frostmaiden Friday night, then Monster of the Week on Saturday and now Wild Beyond the Witchlight on Sunday. I'll sleep really well on Sunday night, for sure!
Okay, that's about it for now. I'm going to have my coffee and consider getting ready for the day. Have the best Tuesday, everyone!
